WELCOME TO 2025!

You will see from the item below that we had a busy AGM and with
various changes in place we are looking ahead to 2025.
Our "first Thursday of the month" session at the London Inn on
2nd January was really well attended and we hope this will continue.

REMEMBER THAT OUR EVENING SESSIONS WILL NOW TAKE
PLACE ON THE THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH AT
THE LONDON INN, MORCHARD BISHOP IN THE SKITTLE ALLEY.
WE ALWAYS HAVE A WARM WELCOME FROM SARAH AND HER TEAM
AND HOPE MANY OF YOU WILL JOIN US ON THE 16TH JANUARY
7.30 FOR THE MUSIC SESSION AND 8.00 FOR A SINGAROUND

AGM REPORT AND IMPORTANT VENUE
AND DATE CHANGES

The AGM went extremely well and the proposal to remove the constitution was passed unanimously. The new committee is structured slightly differently with all the same people as in the last few years; we have elected a Chairman and a Treasurer, with others being elected as committee members and between us we will share our tasks as and when needed/suitable. This does mean that next year you might receive Email notifications from difference Email addresses. So if your device has a tendency to put unknown Email senders into Junk Mail you may need to keep an eye on it.

We have also been told that the Lamb Inn, Sandford, where we hold our third Wednesday sessions, is closing in January. However, we have been lucky enough to move to the London Inn, Morchard Bishop, (a pub we love and know well). Due to prior bookings of the skittle alley, where we have been asked to hold our singarounds and which we have been assured is well heated, we are changing our sessions to the third Thursday of the month, commencing on 16th January 2025.
We looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible there!
